Our 3-Day Detox can be a great way to start your weight loss journey or to break those pesky plateaus. If you miss a few of these key tips, it can be hard to push through the full 3 days. Here are our 3 key tips to surviving our 3 Day Detox:
- Eat even amounts of lean protein and green vegetables. Do not eat just one or the other. Think of it this way: you should eat the palm of your hand in lean proteins and the palm of your hand in vegetables 4-5 times per day, minimum.
- Don't get stuck in a chicken salad sink-hole! Add some variety by cooking your greens and steaming them with lean proteins (such as fish). We like to faux-sauté our proteins and vegetables in chicken broth, avoiding the extra calories when you cook in oil.
- Don't be afraid to use seasonings like cumin, paprika, crushed red pepper and even lemon juice! These will add flavor without adding any sugar or sodium.
