Following a grain-free meal plan can be difficult when you're craving some crunch. Luckily, pomegranate seeds are in season this time of year and can add the crunch you've been missing! Try our quick and easy pomegranate yogurt parfait.
- 100 calorie, low-fat Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp. sliced or slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1 tbsp. ground flaxseed
In a bowl or parfait cup, mix yogurt and ground flaxseed. Layer slivered almonds and pomegranate seeds on top and enjoy! If meal prepping, wait to add ground flaxseed until you're ready to eat. Count as: 1 dairy, 100 calories of fat and 1/2 fruit servings.
